Brown RIP

Time for a measured appraisal :
Gordon Brown has been a good PM just a truly awful, Chancellor and Labour leader . PM first .Reliable on defence and , actually a bit Euro sceptic , thank god , well “Euro” sceptic anyway .In the crisis he has mostly made the right decisions. He saved the banks, pumped money into the economy and did his bit globally . Britain could well have been worse placed under Conservatives in terms of the balance of its Economy and private debt so you can`t blame him for that . So Brown the PM I have some time for .
Brown the Chancellor really was a disaster – He it was ,and he alone ,who created our unsustainable public sector and Greek scale debts . He blocked Public sector reform and for this alone he deserves to be finished .As a Party leader he has run a dreadful campaign hid his record and encouraged a climate of suspicion . He is cowardly ,preening ,not a team player and gives the appearance of having little personal loyalty. Few are loyal to him .
Overall time to go , but his period as PM was the best of him.

"Unsustainable pubic sector" - a Freudian slip? LOL.

Interesting, and not the usual knee jerk Tory thinking, but now is not the time for a measured appraisal from a Party loyalist.

The worst thing about this election is that it seems likely the worst PM in history will still be clinging to power for a good few more weeks.

I think this one has more chapters to come BQ

You forgot to mention how he single-handedly destroyed the best-funded private sector pension setup in Europe.

For that alone, he deserves to be cast into the outer darkness.
