I think Brown`s laborious 'novice' quip , aimed at Cameron and Milliband was implying that long Service is the best way of allocating power. How he would have loved Communist China ...
In the time of the Eight Immortals of Communist Party of China, it was quipped, "the 80-year-olds are calling meetings of 70-year-olds to decide which 60-year-olds should retire". For instance, Party leader Mao Zedong was 82 when he died, while Deng Xiaoping retained a powerful influence until he was nearly 90 , he died at 93. Now he would clearly have been a brilliant man to lead us though these troubled blah blah blah

Is Brown immortal?
Brown thinks the electorate are as stupid as the Labour party. The Labour party are in for a rude awakening. The shame is that we have to wait until the Queen feels obliged to dissolve Parliament.
I think Cameron is too experienced to hold office.
But so was Blair.
One of the flaws of party democracy.
Does Mrs Newms know you're blogging? I'm just wondering if you're going to reach your 60's..
Not that I'm complaining, I love your blog.
