Some beer recommendations (all at Tesco who are doing 25% off 6 bottles):
Bergenbier (Romanian) like upmarket Stella - very nice
Svyturys Ekstra (Lithuanian) a bit like Bergenbier
Seven Giraffes (Scottish) a tasty little number from a microbrewery near Falkirk that you all should try
Vratislav (Czech) tasty and exceptionally good value at 87p per 500ml bottle even before the 25% off!
Asahi (Japanese) very refreshing and quite fizzy - enjoy with a hot curry instead of that pseudo-Indian stuff
Weihenstephan Hefe Weissbier (Kraut) sexy white beer that goes well with moules mariner - if you don't believe me try it!
