Blog Widows Look Out

One day, a man came home and was greeted by his wife dressed in a very sexy
nightie. "Tie me up," she purred, "and you can do anything you want."

So he tied her up and wrote his blog

How sad is that? A friend of mine said his last relationship broke up because he spent more time blogging than with her. In the end, he admitted to her that he found blogs more interesting than her.

I hope Mrs N and dear little E don't feel neglected.

This joke (?) reminds me of a story when I first ran for the Council in 2002. My running mate was asked out by a work colleague, an Essex tart, for a saucy date but he declined.

When asked why, he said, 'sorry, I'm standing for the Conservatives as a councillor and need to stuff envelopes for the campaign on that night.

Tracey hit back: "So you'd rather be stuffing fuckin' envelopes than stuffing me?”

That would be deeply wrong Justin. I `d have stood in for him

Oh would you, Paul? Well, I'll bear that in mind next time I meet one of your good-looking Conservative friends.

It's a true story - ask David Allen!

Good-looking Conservative friends? You may be waiting some time, Marian! (altho I have been descirbed as 'soft-skinned' and 'silver-tongued')

My wife came into the computer room dressed a bit like Wonder Woman, she declared "It's Super Fanny !" to which I replied,
"I think I'll have the soup"

(tumble weed)

You see, you've really got to say that one out loud to fully appreciate it.

I had to say it several times but eventually I got it Kev ...another Kev classic I`d say.......

I `d have gone for the Fanny....hang on what sort of soup ?

Ah I should have looked up "twisted" in the dictionary where I believe there is a short biography of the famous AL

Oh dear rachel of North London is ever so cross with me . I know I shouldn`t but I just can`t rsist teasing her...she`s so deliciously puffed with pride

wow Ellee - thats awful....

Neglecting real life friends, or family (especially children) is easy to do when you have an online line life, but I strongly believe in shutting down and going to spend that time with them.

Blogging is isolating.

Especially the little ones, by the time you realise you should shut down, she'll be too busy with her own life to hang with you and just like that, she'll be gone.

True true Miss Smack...well I am taking all weekend off and meeting one or two people you may have seen about here in the flesh.

Always a pleasure Miss Smack......not that I `ll ever find out , but I bet it is

Backatcha Ms Smack - I totally dig where you're comming from and have been eating ice creams and pushing swings and feeding ducks and all that with my babes. Blair still in power, Tories still pending etc etc. No worries then.

You really should have more time with your honey Newmania, Nick, Croydonian (hang on, doesn't he make up for the other two???)
