'Forgetting the sexual element, let's consider that Mr Straw seems to indicate that there may be a serious issue of racialism - in just about the most hideous form - against white girls.
Had this been the other way around and whites were abusing Asian girls the Left would have been howling it from the roof tops and there would have been rioting in the streets from the minorities affected - may I say rightly so.
It seems to me, Imam Qureshi, that you'd prefer us all to shut up about it. Well that's just plain unfair.'

I don't know what to make of these claims. The fact that Straw made them immediatly puts my back up and has me thinking it has to be nonsense. The point made in this piece seems quite a cogent one: where is the evidence for these claims? The fact that just a few Neanderthal a-holes have engaged in this criminal and sickening conduct does not encourage me to accept the claims of the odious Straw.
Hi newms, I heard this topic discussed on R4 the other day. The guest (a woman) seemed to say the paki prevalence was due to police profiling rather than reality. I thought that was a bit of a stretch given that it seemed evidence free.
