Which is a posh way of saying I`m bloody busy for a while and will not be blogging . Its not the posts so much as the research. I `m afraid the entire newmania brain must be directed at moolah for a while .
I`ll be back
Update ...I `ve just read that and realised I have used the phrase " Entire Newmania brain"....I appreciate it is a Pooh Bear sized organ ...but I like it

Ah, the research, Newmsie. How true. So I'll just take over this thread. And ask the following:
The former Social Democratic Party leader, Dr David Owen, apparently held talks with Gordon Brown in Downing Street last week. Why is Gordo courting Lord Owen? What's Owen after? Short of the Grim Reaper, what will it take to rid British political life of Dr Death?
And why doesn't the fucker just slide into the obscurity he so richly deserves? (Owen that is, not Newmsie)
Not in the Nicholson Baker sense?
See you when you dislodge the monkey from your back.
Hi Stan and C....nad who on earth does Brown think he`s fooling with these overtures to the people he has psent the last ten years screwing...metaphorically
I don't research, I just tap like a monkey on a typewriter. Perhaps that is where I am going wrong...
Looking forward to your next posts already.
Reinforcing the ties of the political class stan!! - they'll all do anything to remain at high table and not have to live their own lives instead of battening onto other people's, particularly the lives of the young and fresh and hopeful.
Dr Death needs to feed on our children, to tell them what to think, what to do, what they may aspire to. And keep him and his kind and class into their worthless dotage.
I do beg your pardon N, I keep venom onto angels usually, it just leapt out.
You are a a women of many unexpected turns of thought HG. THat was a breathtaking attack
Have a good break, n. I'm not surprised running a blog, career and family has temporarily worn you ragged. Don't know how you cope with it all.

Exactly! They're Harry Potter's Dementors: black-robed floating creatures with no lives of their own and no reason for being except perpetuation of their kind. They survive by sucking the happiness and souls out of humans and feeding on our worst fears.
Auntie Flo'
I look forward to your recommendaitions of where your readership should go in the meantime, cough.
Good luck with work. i start a new job tomorrow, if it is horrific then blogging may go the same way for me too!

The honeymoon's over, even the unions are undermining him, and poor wee B ruin's getting panicky and beginning to cock up.
He's worried that in flashing his red petticoat too much and creating great expectations among the faithful, in order to win the leadership, he's alienated the swing vote. Now he wants to move back to the centre by masking his red flannel underwear with the palest blue operating gown.
But poor wee laddie, it's not turning out as he hoped at all, is it? It's all too evocative of the dentist in the Marathon Man.
Instead of Mrs T's credibility rubbing off on B ruin he's been exposed as the villain of the piece.
Instead of twitting the Tories, B ruin's twitted himself.
And as for Billy no mates Owen, all that B ruin's achieved by associating with him is to twit himself even more.
B ruin thought playing doctors and matron's would make him seem a trustworthy man of the centre, instead it's just made him appear even more discreditable to the thinking electorate he so badly needs to attract.
In truth, B ruin's clueless when it comes to winning the vote of disgruntled centre and right wing Liberals. He just cannot relate to the animal at all. He cannot mask his evil history and red brassiere from us, we're too damn clever for him. We see B ruin for what he really is - an old fashioned, despotic Stalinist hiding under a blue rinse - and he chills us to the marrow.

THats much the way i see it Flo
Good Luck CU...Yes thats a gopod idea actually i ought to recommend a few
"There is so much more satisfaction to treating a really bright woman like a fuck puppet than one with nothing to lose ..."
I must see if treating a bright man like a nob-end affords similar satisfaction, Newmie.
Your brilliant.
Er, perhaps that should be
"Your brilliant mind..."
Well you know what I mean ands may I point out I was the only one on that thread defending the intelligent woman in any terms .
Allowing for coaresness of expression...it was a feminist remark ( and don`t pretend you haven`t treated plenty of bright men as knob ends already...and I bet they loved it )
Newmie, don't worry, I is only pullin your plonker :-) I know you love a lady with smarts, you poppet, you xxxxxx
Lilith,
That's Newmsie not Newmie, dear. Don't make me have to correct you again on this point, missy.
By Jove, Auntie Flo' makes a lot of sense on Gordo... for whom the shit is indeed hitting the fan.
Do what ya gotta do, Newmania.
Moving ???
Good luck with whatever it is.
Thanks EK.
Yes, good luck with your move, n!

Hmmmm I wish I had more time Flo. Hope all well with you if you look in.
All's well, thanks, n - hectic though.
I'm in the process of convening a public meeting where the people of Harlow can vote to require our local council to hold a Referendum on the EU Treaty/Constitution.
Take care

Hi,
Does anybody know how many countries there are in the world right now, please?
Thanks.
How many countries in the world....
I believe it's 167. I understand that there are allegedly 194 countries in the world, but the 27 member states of the United States of Europe have effectively lost their nationhood, haven't they?
Auntie Flo
Well thabks for that gen knowledge interlude Flo. I hardly have the time to read a blog let alone write one now.... and its going to be that way until at least the ned of this year.
Take care yourself
