Spit It Out !!

The Guardianistas , they aren’t evil people, but they are so determined not to admit the obvious sometimes it’s an exquisite agony to watch the strange arabesque they weave around Conservative solutions.
There has been one of those rather phoney studies which intellectual ‘giant’ *cough* Hazel ( the chipmunk)l Blear has called “important work....black community...blah blah “.With seventeen teenagers shot in the first part of the year, the motives are not unreasonable , although as I always point out there have been more black on white killings in the country, and the biggest growth area is Muslim on Jew .
Black problems are trendier though, and naturally Liberals have to pretend to understand them . Up until now, with marvellously patronising inverted racism ,they have recruiting rappers , who often glorify anti-semitism homophobia and violence , as role models .(For example the noted rhyming pundit 50 cents) .
The study concludes that teenagers need better models such as Lawyers and so on . They have found a link they say ,between low aspirations and gang culture , not hard if you are looking for it I `m sure ,but quite clearly this is skating on the surface of the problem.
White working class boys, as a group, are performing far worse than blacks so any freebies, ( youth clubs and so on ),will be rightly resented. Additionally, handing out humiliating 'post-imperial-shiny-beads' only indicates that its all everyone else’s fault, trapping the community in a downward cycle of infantilisation . The answers the report suggests are more tax payers money, more council housing, and everyone pulling their socks up in a nebulous way. In short , meretricious garbage which will spawn self congratulatory panaceas
In order to prescribe the treatment you have to diagnose the condition. Lets have a look at the symptoms shall we .

Chukka Umanna has a revealing article on the way these gangs work.” Darren “ a member of a notorious gang explains the structure.

“ There are ‘Olders’ aged 20 plus ;youngers’ aged 16 to 19 and ‘tinies’ below that .The whole things operates as a surrogate family “.

Chuka reports that despite the MORI Poll claiming no more than 30% carry a knife 90 to 95% caught up in this culture do with frequent beatings(rushing) and violence revolving around “respect “ and “pride” .Can I throw in something else here . In America the very same Caribbean communities have not fallen into disrepair but are well known for a fierce work ethic often called black Jews by the indigenous ancestors of Plantation slaves .

So why should these “youngers” need a surrogate family , here, and why would they be disenagaged from school and economic advancement ? Why would they define themselves through tribal feuds and blood honour in a modern City .? It just screams at you doesn’t it ....
They need real families with real father and real aspirations garnered from a British culture that values achievement not behaving like ferrets in a bag. The Caribbean people came here with strong paternal and church based structures . They were self reliant and law abiding , they did not want “Black “ culture to the point it was elevated above the British tradition they admired . We sold them out. It was the collision of the culture of benefits and anti-father policies that left a vacuum and disastrous multiculturalism that kept it there . Yes there was racism to cope with too and it has been appalling at times , but a vast deal less than in the US where they thrived .Labour caused this problem and now they want to plaster over the cracks with platitudes and youth clubs .David Cameron is on the right track with his multigenerational ambition to out the family right .

Guardianistas see all this but cannot bear to say so . It would be to admit that at the very heart of their over-ripe doctrine is a wriggling maggot of error . The reason the gangs scramble for “respect “ is that they have no “self respect”. The reason they cannot succeed is that that are not allowed to fail, and the reason they invent macabre pseudo families is that we have destroyed the real one . Much of this goes for the underclass of whites too and it amuses me that behind much of the do-gooding is a latent racism so ingrained that it takes a Boris Johnson to detect it.

"Society" does not reward hard work and ambition, quite the opposite. That is the root of all our problems, black, white or whoever.

Quite so Ed

Panacea - word of the week.

N - My direct experiece of the Carribbean is somewhat different. A prepondance of females versus males on many islands has meant a quite different culture developed as compared to the UK.

However, i do agree that more ghettoisation through tax subsidyis not the answer. It has not been the answer in America. People need to stop seeing themselves as victims, to help themselves and then to see what they can achieve.

When you look at immigrant communities in the US like the Mexicans and Asians they break out of poverty often in a single generation. The victimised (by that I mean state supported) Blacks are still in a cultural mess over 100 years after the civil war more or less fought in their name.

Thus I quite agree with 90% of your piece.

Funnily enough CU I was reading an article avbout that todayt saying the rags to riches American dream is now more of a myth than it ever was. It was the new statesman so ....

'disagree. Guardianistas are evil.
It is an intensely ideological, partisan newspaper. It is the bible of a self-proclaimed "progressive intelligentsia" that has successfully occupied large swathes of British public life with horrific consequences.

Oddly enought IT the Guardian is definitely moving right ( damn long way to go until they reach me ) as is an undercurrent of opinion. Its not all bad news really.

Why do black boys need black role models? Can they not be inspired by non-black people?

Do blacks think themselves to be inferior and therefore unable to achieve a white person's ambitions? Is that really what the Guardian readers think?

This idea is racist on so many different levels. Why don't these people who are "just trying to help" get back into their intellectual box and get on with something useful?

Well Ed that was exactly wthe sort of unspoken sense of superiotuity that boruis was getting at with his use of Empirical language. I see exactly what his point is now

Sir Henry Morgan has researched the issue and the factor by which whites are more likely to be killed by blacks is 137 x.

The CRE is an abomination - the Conservatives ought to be moving to utterly discredit it.

vI've worked in a lefty London local authority and the politics of the place drove me up the wall.

It is perfectly acceptable in these neo-Marxist moral cess-pits to advocate murdering the Queen, yet make one utterance on immigration policy that is right of 'open the door and let everyone in' and eyes all suddenly turn around and glare at you.

It never ceases to amaze me how the race relations industry think the answer to racism is to employ a load of black people to enforce racial quotas and set up apartheid segregational nonsense such as 'black workers groups'.

Should I confess that I was a sort of Guardianista a for a time when I was a student? I was an avid Guardian reader, working for a public service organisation. That was before I ran my own business, obviously.

My sandwich degree required a one year work placement during my third year and I chose to work in a public service. It was a such a dream of a job, constantly challenging and exciting and totally unique in so many ways. I was able to do and achieve things that I'd never have dreamed I would do in my life.

It didn't involve interfering with people's lives or the sort of Mickey Mouse work so many in the public services do now. It was a real job with real, tangible and worthwhile objectives and results. Yet now I'm hypocritically torn about that sort of service, about whether or not it should be financed by the public purse.

But it was such a stunning job, I wouldn't have missed that experience for anything. I was damn luck to have got it more ways than one. Had a crisis with my hearing towards the end of my second year when an ear infection wiped out my hearing almost completely for months and messed up my studies. I didn't have the strength of character then to believe that I could cope with any work in that sort of state, so I couldn't confirm until my (duff) hearing began to return, just before I was to start the job, that I would be fit to do the work. Yet my new boss held the job open for me.

What transformed me from a Guardianista and life long Liberal into a member of the Conservative party? Lying Nulab. In particular their mindless slaughter of 100,000s of innocent Iraqis and British service personnel and my, then, local Lib Dem council's betrayal of their community politics and Green ideals. The b*st*rds nicked my green space, eroded the crucial green buffer around the flood plain here, flooded my street and flew thousands of whining bloody planes over my cottage!

The thing is Flo I read the Guardian sometimes and the New Statesman always .The letters are infuriating but the Paper is not the hilarious twaddle it once was. What disappoints me with it is that it is full square behind Brown. What do the Liberals read ?
I am less dismissive of Liberals than I used to be there are some good ideas coming out of the Party. They do behave quite despicably in local elections though and the docrine is confused.

I think the point for Conservatives is to look for common ground though and there us some. To me there is something rather New Lab about arrogantly thinking you are the only one who knows anything. I think the Conservative Party has to become a Party progressive people of certain sorts can be happy in and that means the right being prepared to listen.

Its odd that they are saying Boris is terribly right wing , in soneways he is in that he is against Poltical correctness and bureaucracy but his social ideas are moderate and inclusive . I `m much the same .

BTW I miss JAQ ...she is off line.

Liberals read the Independant and that silly 'Focus' leaflet they shove through your door.

Actually a lot of young Lib Dem voters read the Sun or Mirror. They pick up a lot of votes from people who think 'I should vote, I don't like Labour, I don't like Tories, so I'll vote for the yellow ones, we'll see what they're like.'

The thing is, 'liberals' are no longer liberal. A good number of the buggers voted to ban smoking in working mens clubs.

Oh I see , no the Guardian I can read the Independent I cannot abide.
There are some ok Liberals as well though

Change that to Lib Dems and I'd agree. Most notable in that lobby, of course, was Charles Kennedy, who refused to stop smoking on a train. Although this legislator - who'd voted for the anti-smoking law - claimed to believe that it was ok to smoke out of the train's window, it's bloody obvious that the hypocrite believes that, as an MP, he's above the law.

But as Mark Oaten admitted yesterday, none of the "Liberals" agree with their party policy, they only adopt it because they think it will win a few votes.

Perhaps if people actually said what they believed rather than going along with whatever the Mail and Sun say our politics would be a bit more healthy.
