Fight ! Fight ! Fight !

Ken Livingstone, as we know , is planning to use tax payer's money to build an enormous mosque costing an estimated 100M in the docklands. What do you think about it? Wouldn't it be better to spend the money on a new hospital or improved transport facilities?? BIGGER THAN ST PAULS!!!
The plan is for the mosque to be so big that people flying in from all over the world for the 2012 Olympics will it see it as the biggest landmark in London , bigger than St Pauls, Westminster Abbey or Wembley Stadium

Take a second to cast your vote in The Evening Standard on-line poll to determine public opinion about whether a mega mosque should be built for the Olympics.
he vote so far is 62 % in favour. It looks like the Muslim
community is casting its vote in droves, and as usual the Christians
are burying their heads in the sand....

After voting, forward this to as many people as
you can. Here's the link:

Woolmer Murder

Theory A- Itwas a Cricket Loon

Theory B.....

Where is Poi rot ? We have been mulling over the Woolmer case this morning and this is the answer.

We think that Woolmer knew Pakistan , had thrown the game against Ireland and knew therefore that bribes had been taken ,. He must have had a shrewd idea about who was responsible and no doubt confronted them discreetly in recent days. Little did he know that with that meeting he had signed his own death warrant !!! Bum Bum BAAAAAAAAAA!

According to the paper there was no sign of struggle or forced entry so it must have been someone he knew. Given that the suspect is in the Pakistani team now it could be that if you were to watch them play now you will be looking into the eyes of a cold blooded killer , a man who can take another man’s neck in his hands and wring the life out of him

Bum Bum BAAAAAAAAAAAA

Take the Dog Out

.Not since Cruella De Ville updated her entire Spring collection has life been so bad for our four legged friends. First of all they were overtaken by cats as the UK`s most popular pet and then their obesity was savagely lampooned when, this year , the first doggy diet pill was introduced. In Henley and west Berkshire, they are in the grip of a dog-napping epidemic. Animals are being targeted by gangs of dognappers prepared to use violence if confronted. Dogs stolen range from gundogs - Labrador and spaniels worth up to £3,000 - to prize-winning Jack Russells.
Crufts was under siege for cruel and unusual breeding practices , and the mutts everywhere are subject to the illiberal and utterly ineffective Dangerous Dogs Act.
Well it just got worse....................

KUALA LUMPUR (AFP) - Malaysian piracy syndicates are trying to assassinate two black labradors after the dogs helped find millions of dollars of fake DVDs and CDs, a report and officials said Thursday.Lucky and Flo sniffed out the discs during a raid by Malaysian officials Tuesday at an office tower in Johor Baru, the capital of Johor state.
"Sources informed the Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs that syndicate members are looking for the dogs," said the ministry’s enforcement assistant director, Firdaus Zakaria.
"The dogs are a genuine threat to the pirated disc syndicates, thus the instruction to eliminate them," he was quoted as saying in the New Straits Times.”

Foreigners eh ? When will they learn that dogs and cats are small furry people

Flat Tax

The budget is a it dull isn’t it . The tax trick didn’t last more than a second or two in our office and by yesterday evening the Standard was tearing it to pieces . I have managed to find one journalist who has different view though. Whereas the Telegraph in common with everyone else points out the obvious ……..

“As well as promising to cut the basic rate of income tax from 22p to 20p Brown abolished the 10p starting rate . It means that taxpayers will start paying at 20p in the pound effectively doubling the rate for those on less than £15,000 per year…and the ceiling above which NI will not be payable will rise from £38,840 to £43,000… etc.”

The Conjurors Assistant

In the New Statesman Martin Bright who Guido has already accused of selling out to the Sith looks at it in a rather different way

” Brown was determined to leave No. 11 with a bang rather than with a whimper . His spectacular flourish at the end of his budget speech- a cut in the of 2p in the basic rate of income tax – certainly achieved that.
“The surprise element was reinforced by the abolition of the 10p rate in order to target tax credits at pensioners as well as at the poorest children and families. This may turn out to be genuinely redistributive “

I cannot make any sense of this sort of childish misrepresentation “Reinforced ?” . In what sense can he possibly mean that the one “reinforced” the other. Its sad to see a journalist who was once respected reduced to these depths. He is like the Conjurors`s assistant trying to divert attention away from the “sleight of hand “.

Why do we accept the dishonesty?

The only reason for the manoeuvring on National Insurance (why is it not just called tax ?) , ceilings , time lags and so on ,is to quite deliberately confuse and befuddle the tax payer . Its incredible the extent to which we accept that the Chancellor will mislead us whenever he can . There is even a sort of admiring in-game assessing how well he has done it.

Yet again we have seen the tax burden shift from that which we can see, to that which is hidden from us , and we already live in a country where invisible tax is about the same size as Income tax .This is an ongoing grievous attack on our democracy . David Cameron said a long time ago that his primary aim with taxation was to simplify . Certainly there is no point in promising this and that now which can only be rearranging the furniture The reform has to be in stages. Simplify and then cut . In fact the one will inevitably follow the other and that is the only way to make serious inroads to the state ..

FLAT TAX

Flat tax has been adopted in Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, Slovakia, Georgia, Romania, and Macedonia. Proponents believe the simplicity and efficiency of the flat tax is a key reason behind Eastern Europe's dramatic growth.. It may not in its pure form be possible to entirely reach the position here, but the closer we are able to get to it the better it would be both for the economy and for the health of the nation. At the moment we have to watch the puffs of smoke and wait for the experts, why ?. It is our money and nothing is more important to me than the eradication of this small print. It would land a financial adviser in Court in ten seconds.

Don`t Put up With It !

So the question you should be asking when someone is unpicking the endless threads of the intricate Brownite tapestry is not .“ What is Happening?”,It is

“ Why the hell are you hiding things from me ?”

They Can`t Help Themselves You know

Michael Eliot ,( in Time magazine), has some arresting points to make about the glorious fifty years of our beloved EU. I think it is probably safe to say that we do not start from the same place ,although I am not at rabid EU attack hound like Arthurian Legend . I think the following lines give you an idea of “Where he’s coming from “
“The EU has spawned admirers , - how could it not -but not imitators . No other multi national grouping , not Mercosaur in Latin America , not ASEAN in South east Asia - has anything like the powerful institutions of the Union “…. This is a good thing remember. Anyway he has about twenty gifts that this much loved organisation has bestowed on we sulky little Englanders most of which are beyond risible .The first of these is “peace“.

Elliot

“ It was the Americans - with the Marshall plan and then Nato who laid the groundwork but the EU has helped to give Europe its most peaceful 60 years since records were first kept. Heres the big picture France and Germany had fought a war in each of the here generation before the treaty of Rome …blah blah…By locking together economies , societies and political structures , the EU had s made such horrors unimaginable”

New mania -

So what you seem to be suggesting is that without tying themselves like Odysseus as he listened to the Sirens ,the Germans could not trust themselves not to get the old War boots on . Its like an addiction with them . You think they seem ok but they could slip back at any time . A muscle flick above the eye one minute , a flock of screeching panzers blotting out the sunlight the next . Seriously , you mean that nice Jurgen ?

M Thatcher ( nice of you to weigh in Mrs T we need a bit of class around here:)

“My life was transformed by the Second World War….. I drew for the failure of appeasement that aggression must always be firmly resisted . But how ?The ultimate victor of the Allies persuaded me that nations must cooperate in defence of international rules if they are either to resist great evils or achieve great benefits . That is merely a platitude if ……nations lack strong bonds of common loyalty .Weak nations could not have resisted Hitler effectively- indeed those nations that were weak did not stand up to him. So I drew from the Second world war a very different lesson from the hostility to the nation state that evinced by some post war European Statesmen . My view was- and is -that an effective internationalism can only be built by strong nations which are able to call upon the strong loyalty of their citizens to defend and enforce civilised rules of international conduct. An internationalism that seeks to supersede the nation state however will very quickly founder on the reality that few people are prepared to make genuine sacrifices for it .

New mania - Do continue Mrs T you are making excellent sense here……

M Thatcher-It is likely to degenerate into a formula for endless discussion and hand wringing …..

New mania - Good point Thatch and like your dress you saucy Minx !

The truth is that the world after the Second world war was nothing like that which had existed before it , in fact the First and second World Wars are rally the same war. The new enemy was Russia and NATO ,ourselves included, but primarily ,the Americans stood up to the Soviet threat . The EU was worse than useless ,as it has continued to be , notably in the Balkans . Of course one can understand why Germans would be wary of their own nationalism, and also why the French would want to keep them close . What has this to do with us , the people who with indomitable national pride stood alone against the savage Hun ? We have every right to be proud of this country and the French in particular have considerable reason to be somewhat more grateful than they are.Their Second World war was ,after all ,about ten minutes of spineless froggery

There is of course a great deal more to be said about the EU but I feel that is the heart of it we have become embroiled in an organisation against Nationalism in its bones and everything in our history before and since tells us this is wrong . This why the inheritors of Delors will never give up with there Constitution despite being told to bugger off time and time again .This is why we must resist even if that means as some suggest , leaving..

PS
I can`t be bothered with much of the rest of it but this will give an idea at the sort of thing that he deems to be worth sacrificing that nationality that has served us so well

The French Countryside

“There has to be something to be said for the CAP and indeed there is . The timeless contours of La France Profonde - at least south of the wheat and beat belt - are a testimony to the long subsidy of French farming. The French subsidy may offend free trade purists but on a Summer morning in the Dordogne there is something to be said for impurity…..”

I `m not kidding , other highlights are “ Ireland’s revival “, Better Football”,” Airbus”, “ Climate Change …stuff” ,“ Cleaner beaches”…honestly its hard to know if he mean any of this seriously. Giving our money generously to good causes internationally and channelling away from us to little c Galicia. A raft of labour rights including the right to come and work and retire here demanding all sorts of goodies that are enshrined in the Treaty of Rome.

H e summarise by calling the whole thing a “ Stunning Miracle “

Are you stunned ? I think I may be

He is giving the wrong signals .........?

'Mr Tumble, the sign-language presenter on CBeebies, has been accused of signing "I'm fucking you" instead of "I'm happy to see you" when he greets children on the channel. Startled viewers have complained to the BBC, which has denied the allegation.

'Apparently in the Makaton sign language, the signs for fucking and happy are quite similar.'

Which makes sense to me........

When Do You Stop Talking and Act !

I am seriously scared, yet again, I saw a mention in the New Statesman of the Labour chatter about PR . We know what it is all about really. Alec Salmon gave an infuriating argument for the end of the union in the Telegraph .He suggested that “despite our fears about losing the oil revenue “ England was probably a big enough country to go it alone …yes very funny.
At all events, I see less chance of a Union in the future than there was of a new Empire in the 1960s . Labour simply cannot steal any more money from the English via the Barnett formulas. Parts of Glasgow having a life expectancy below retirement age and .in their welfare wasteland drugs hell-holes, the Scots do not see themselves as fortunate,
Labour have failed to buy the votes form their client state on the “ Celtic fringe” and they now accept that in the first past the post system they may never form a government again in England . We will know more soon, but Michael Portillo was the first to point out the dooms-day scenario of PR and the more I think about it the more I think it likely .The scum will throw the Constitution into the sea before they will let the Right have it forever. I really think they will.

PR is a system I detest.Smply put it confuses the one vital question in a functioning democracy . "If I do not like what I see who do I vote against!" By transferable vote systems allied to the fact that the Conservative party have relatively few second choice voters ,Brown will hope to frustrate the clear wish of the English never to have his like in Power again. He will do some shady deal with the Liberals and assorted extremist loons. That will be the end of democracy in this country. You can forget getting out of the EU which would love this ,in fact , you can forget any connection with policy which will all be brokered in Westminster between insiders of the centre.

If he does this, if he dares wreck Parliament completely because he cannot win , then the talking is over. It is time to take to the street with direct action and if necessary violent resistance . What about it Bloggers are you all talk or are you prepared fight Brown in whatever way is left. When will you say I `m not taking this any more !

I know ..if you want the Consevatives to riot make it a Sunday , we`re all at work !

Growth Was Not Brown`s Doing

I am sick of the New labour lie that Gordon Brown has given us the longest period of sustained growth in our history. You may think that, unfortunately, this is true ,but read the sentence again and you will see that it is not. “ Gordon Brown has given ..”.. ah yes …there’s the lie !

I give him credit for not rolling back the Trade Union Liberalisation of the saintly Mrs . T ,but then it was hardly politically possible after the intellectual death of Socialism,( now stalking the land like a reanimated cadaver ) ,. “Differently dead “,Socialism ,is responsible for galloping wage inflation in the Public sector, where the unions are able to act almost as before. Labour’s shrinking constituency is increasingly dominated by the irreducible core of bought and paid for state serfs. Gordon cannot manoeuvre now .
Haven’t the state hirelings done well ! They will be retiring at about 3.30 this afternoon for an endless Edwardian Summer of Croquet and canapés on the lawn. We will be working well into our third re incarnation as rats. Meanwhile 800,000 jobs for which there is no apparent explanation have been created in public administration which ,coincidentally , is about the same number that decides a General Election.

I also give the “Lying Scotsman “, sour and grudging credit for handing over interest rates to the Bank of England ,although why I should I have no idea , it isn’t as if he wanted to. This will soon be tested now inflation is , for most of us, about 7.2% ,whatever the ever changing measurements tell you . Unemployment doesn’t matter, they are always banging on about the end of it , but this has been brought about by a vastly increased Working Population working on contract and flexibly .
The burden of this change to insecurity ,again ,been taken by those in the Private sector . Actual unemployment is now disguised in part time and subcontractor status .There have also been numerous redefinitions of what counts as unemployment and the suspicion is that behind it al, the usual pressures are building .
In the past with such vertigenous levels of taxation we would simply have stopped bothering to work so hard ,but not now .The fact that long hours and endless sacrifice goes on in the working population, is to be explained by the high gearing that we are all obliged to take on with our Mortgages. In other words “fear”, has replaced hope, and we cling on to whatever employment we have no matter what conditions are imposed. No matter how small the marginal reward may be. This suits Brown nicely

Gordon Brown has quite simply been lucky .He inherited a country equipped uniquely to take advantage of the exploding world economy and, by the way, with plenty of sovs in the Piggy bank , The world economy has raced ahead and other English Speaking countries , notably America, have done spectacularly well. We have slowly stagnated under a burden of taxation and red tape despite further spending of social capital by letting in a hoard of cheap labour for the benefit of Big Business that New labour is increasingly in Corporate state relationship with. The proper summary of the Performance of this country under Brown is this .

“The lowest Growth in the Anglo-sphere”

The art of Government is often trying to make the inevitable seem planned and never has this been truer that in the case if Broon`s Economic success. Victorian Governments would not have dared take the credit for the growth of the railways and the factors that have aided Brown have been so far beyond his control as to make his claims to have been responsible laughable. The Government do not make a damn thing , and the Public Sector by any measurement is a Mill stone around the relatively productive Private Sector’s neck . If there s any creed responsible for the clement economic weather it has been the low tax economies of the East . We would do better to learn from them and the US than to assume that the Labour party has got anything right .

Come Fly with me

Come fly with me, lets fly lets fly away

'Woman upgraded after dying in economy during flight from Delhi to London' - Reuters.

If you can use, some exotic booze
Theres a bar in far bombay

'A British Airways passenger travelling first class has described how he woke up on a long-haul flight to find that cabin crew had placed a corpse in his row. The body of a woman in her seventies, who died after the plane left Delhi for Heathrow, was carried by cabin staff from economy to first class, where there was more space. Her body was propped up in a seat, using pillows. The woman's daughter accompanied the corpse, and spent the rest of the journey wailing in grief - The Times.

Come fly with me, well fly well fly away

"I remember looking at this frail, sparrow-like woman and thinking she was very ill. She kept slipping under the seatbelt and moving about with the motion of the plane. When I asked what was going on I was shocked to hear she was dead" - BA passenger Paul Trinder.

Its perfect, for a flying honeymoon - they say
Come fly with me, well fly well fly away !!!!!

PACK UP AND FLY AWAAAAAAAAY !

Back to Iraq

As I was saying , I was chatting with thinly veiled acrimony, to an International Aid worker ,and he was telling me how terrible Iraq was in the traditional sobbing tones. He had recently been to the country, and claimed that the US were killing more civilians than the delicately titled “ Insurgents” , as in ,Al Qaeda and Bathist murderers.
This seems most unlikely to me and I `d be interested in anyone’s views on the relative murderousness of the US army and the factions. Anyway this conversation caused me to return to the subject of Iraq. I had conclcuded the Liberals were right but for the wrong reasons , but now I `m not so sure .
In the Sun today there is a quote from a Poll conducted by the Opinion Research Business. Of 5000 Iraqis polled six out of ten deny they are living though a civil war experience .49% say their lives were better since the war and only 26% said that they were better off under the old ogre . The rest were undecided or said it was about the same . So very nearly twice as many actual Iraqis as not, believe the war has been a benefit. Considering that under Saddam Hussein there was no hope of any change for the better ever, we are obviously on the right track.

I have never felt that improving the world was the main reason for going into Iraq. The motivation for us , was always to support America ,and therby maintain our Global security . However, if we have also achieved an improvement in the lives of the Iraqi people as well , why is it that there is such wide spread agreement that this was a dreadful mistake?

John Howard’s Australia , a country I increasingly admire , take a very different view .They are increasing troops for Iraq and they remain committed to the fight for democracy in the Arab World . Their splendidly Politically incorrect Foreign minister Alexander Downer has been robust in his contempt for the appeasers and apologists like us .

For those who think that the war has made the world a more dangerous place he simply remarks “..thats like saying let Hitler take France and that will secure things a little more..”. Here are some more refreshingly candid remarks from down under

1Guntanamo ( and the lack of trials)- Downing

‘…You are entitled to hold those who are engage in hostilities against you until the end of that war. …you tie your hands behind your back if you treat this as a normal breach of law. “Law” enforcement, does not protect our community ‘

2 Muslims in Australia ( Peter Costello Treasurer)

‘…Basically people who don`t want to be Australians and they don`t want to live by Australian values and understand them , well they can basically clear off !”

3 Democracy and the Arab World ( Why the war has reduced Terrorism)- Downing

“ partly this is because the Indonesian government has promoted the idea of moderate Islam . The world `s largest Islamic country is a vigorous democracy where people are able to dissent….that’s why I believe that democracy is an important way of defeating terror . The claim that the” Brown guys”, don`t do democracy is just outrageous . So if you happen to be Arab or Asian you are supposed to enjoy oppression? Just bring on the evidence “

Crucially , they see domestic multiculturalism as part of the war . In a series of tough immigration and citizenship measures they are ensuring that Australia has the will to protect itself. The department of Immigration and Multicultural affairs has been tellingly renamed The Department of immigration and citizen ship”.
Australians see Iraq as part of world wide battle for freedom , and this includes within Australia . This is exactly the same way large parts of Islam see it “.As an eternal battle between belief and non belief “ …by belief they mean theirs.

The enemy are are more than happy with the role and the Bathists did think the Arabs only functioned with un-thinking love rather than critical thought. The only people who disagree seem to be Guardianistas of the West .

This invertebrate appeasement at the first sign of difficulty is really decadent self loathing as patented by the originator of all Fisks , Robert Fiske .
Once being stoned, mugged , brutally attacked and left bleeding in the dust on the Afghan Pakistan Border this was what he wrote,
” I understood, I couldn’t blame them for what they were doing. In fact if I were the Afghan Refugees of Kila Abdullah , …., I would have done just the same to Robert Fiske or any other Westerner I could find …”…the attacker was “ Innocent of any crime except that of being a victim of the world “

Personal responsibility is gone and the implicit assumption is that almost any barbarity is forgivable in what Mr. Downing calls. “The brown Guys “. Every time we show weakness we encourage our enemies and I begin to see that we have let Liberal bleeding heart doubts infect us almost without noticing .

One of Us ! Good Luck Janice

Ellee was plugging Janice Small for selection at Calder Valley . She is of course , a woman , in marketing and not a local which is triple whammy of a bloody bad start ,so I suspected she was going to be a Liberal in Blue clothing . Pressing her to establish her position I must say I was delighted to see a good strong response, some of this is below.
I accept that s he is ,“ One of us “, and I think we could do with a lot more like her. My only question would be as to whether she has held these opinions for a long time or is simply adopting a convenient position pending full Camerinisation.

Immigration

It is a start to close our borders. There are vast swathes of immigrants in this country that are insular and expect us to protect their culture whilst having no regard for our civil liberties and rights as citizens. We cannot pander to the middle-class, left wing Guardianistas. It is because this view is paramount in most of our media that decent people are turning to the BNP. I will change that in any constituency I am lucky enough to serve.

Benefits and Housing

I am no liberal Conservative. Yes, you are right the housing and benefits system needs a complete overhaul together with ’society’s’ tolerance of this abuse. ‘Society’ and the State has to say that it is not acceptable to have babies without a partner or income; it is not acceptable to lose control of your teenagers; it is not acceptable to have 12 year olds roaming the streets at 11pm, and so it goes on. There has to be hard sanctions for those who abuse and take from us who work hard and raise their families within a moral code.

Good luck Janice …you know I must be a sick puppy, the moment I discover that a woman agrees with me I immediately find them twice as physically attractive. Alan Clark had the same problem with the “Lady”. Janice is looking better all the time ….wierd eh.

Feeble Excuses Dept.

Oh dear oh dear , off we went yesterday to see some friends of my wife who are starting up a curry business. We were there for the free trial. Also present were Andy and his wife , Andy is hard Left Labour supporter an actor and a Spurs supporter .
Realising the imminent danger I was under strict spousal instructions not to get drunk and not to talk about Politics.
I managed that pretty well until as about the fourth large glass of wine when in walked another chap who was an international Aids worker. A verbal fracas ensued and I am deep in the dog house . Also being pie faced I did not write my blog which I have an idea for. Now I am busy with sordid commerce ...

In the meantime I look forward to being supplied with unflattering pictures of Justin Hinchcliffe the dynamic leader of Tottenham and Haringey Conservatives following his cruel publication of a friends least attractive moment. I am told that Justin is getting fatter by the day ,and in this excess he is clearly following the example of our beloved leader as mentioned in the new Book,” The Rise of the New Conservative “

I know I shouldn’t but I cannot help enjoying Cameron`s life of squierarchical privilege juxtaposed with his futile attempts to look like and ordinary bloke .
Interesting that similar material about Tony Blair was suppressed for so many years isn’t it….

“David Cameron once flew on Concorde to the US to celebrate a class mates birthday. The Eton boys tucked into caviar Salmon and beef and a Master recalls the 11 year old Cameron toasting him with a glass of Dom Perignon’69 saying “ Good health Sir “

Dragged himself up by his bootstraps didn`t he . No wonder he understands the fears of the aspirational working class and the lowermiddle-class so well ..

Anyway a stream of consciousness load of waffle is currently coalescing into monstrous form in my fevered mind that I will get to later today
